Philadelphia-based Alex G will release his eighth full-length album called Rocket via Domino on May 19th. 

Rocket is available to pre-order now on limited edition red translucent vinyl, and limited edition red translucent cassette, which is only available via Domino Mart.  

There will also be a limited edition random colorway cassette (Bandcamp exclusive).

According to Domino, the sessions for "Rocket" began shortly after the work ended on his 2015 Domino debut, Beach Music. It was tracked at home by himself and with friends, in between a crazy 2015 and 2016 tour schedule. 

Rocket was mixed by Jacob Portrait (Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Bass Drum of Death), who also worked on Alex G's previous Domino effort.

Alex G will be playing an album launch show in Brooklyn, New York, on Thursday May 18th and will be returning to the UK later in the year.
